Airgas is hiring a Counter Sales Associate in Philadelphia, PA to balance high-energy customer interaction with operational support. You will advise customers on industrial gases, welding supplies, and related products while ensuring accurate paperwork and smooth transactions.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.
• Attention to detail in handling transactions.
• Availability for occasional overtime when the team needs extra support.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on tools, hardware and materials to complete projects.
• Partner with customers to identify best tools and procedures for tasks; demonstrate equipment use.
• Manage order entry and processes; assist with reconciliation of deposits.
• Coordinate communication with customers and team by phone, email, and in person.
• Maintain showrooms and stock shelves to provide an excellent customer experience.
