Job summary

Schaedler Yesco Distribution is seeking a Counter Sales Representative for our Meadowlands, PA location. You will assist customers at the counter, advise on products, and coordinate with sales and operations to ensure accurate pricing, availability, and prompt delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience in electrical supply or related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve a diverse group of customers at the counter providing information on products and services.
• Assist customers with product selection and applications.
• Explain credit policies, delivery options, and in-house services to customers.
• Provide inventory and lead-time information and process credits as needed.
• Maintain organized, stocked counter area with clearly labeled shelves and displays.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate pricing and timely delivery.
• Pursue ongoing education related to SYD products and solutions.
• Support Will Call orders, bids, and open order follow-ups as required.
• Engage with vendors to obtain pricing and promotions when applicable.
• Grow sales and gross margin through proactive customer engagement.
