Job summary

North Coast Electric, part of the Sonepar family, seeks a Counter Sales Associate to serve contractor, industrial and OEM customers in Oregon. You will quote, enter orders, track inquiries, and deliver proactive customer service while supporting warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and product knowledge in the electrical field is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Counter Sales for Contractor, Industrial & OEM Market.
• Quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive Customer Service.
• Counter and other sales/support duties as directed.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors.
• Commit to proactive and team approach to sales.
• Identify and pursue gross margin and market share growth opportunities.
• Promote the DOTP Customer Service Guarantees for increased share.
• Relationship building with Will Call customers.
• Daily merchandising display maintenance.
• Help warehouse as needed (wire cuts, filling orders, loading delivery truck).
• Other duties as assigned.
