Job summary

United Electric Supply is seeking a Counter Manager to lead the counter sales team in New Castle, DE. You will coach staff, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while maintaining showroom presentation and inventory accuracy.

You will work with internal departments and manufacturers to support business objectives, promote product knowledge, and develop personnel. This is a safety-sensitive, hands-on role with a focus on operational excellence.

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• Customer Service Training/Experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the counter sales team.
• Develop and coach employees, drive sales growth, ensure exceptional customer service.
• Maintain efficient counter operations and showroom areas.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and manufacturers.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development for counter personnel and Sales Trainee.
• Meet with manufacturing representatives to discuss new products, promotions, displays, and training.
• Develop and expand house account relationships and convert opportunities into sales.
• Reconciliation of cash drawer and assist with cycle counting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
