Job summary

Capital Electric in Frederick, MD is hiring a Counter Sales associate. You will sell electrical products, help customers pick items, and build relationships to become the distributor of choice. Prior sales and/or electrical knowledge is preferred; training is provided.

Responsibilities include handling calls, greeting customers, assisting with orders, and processing sales tickets. You will work to meet monthly sales goals and support warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High School or GED.
• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred, but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer phone calls.
• Greet walk-in customers.
• Assist customers with order and product selection.
• Pull customer orders from warehouse and bring to counter.
• Prepare customer sales ticket and process payment.
• Promote and explain product promotions.
• Support warehouse functions as needed.
• Aim to hit monthly sales and gross margin goals.
