Job summary

Gemaire Distributors in the San Diego area is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to staff our HVAC showroom counters. You will engage contractors and dealers, process sales, and help customers find the right equipment while up-selling where appropriate.

The role requires at least 1+ year in counter sales, strong customer service, and solid Microsoft Office skills. You must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and meet goals within set timeframes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in HVAC.
• Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and outside salespeople, vendors and contractors.
• Responsible for showroom merchandising and restocking product.
• Assist in resolving customer relations problems with dealers and end users.

• Adhere to safety requirements and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
• Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties asassigned.

Pay Range: $22-25.50/hr.
