Job summary

Snow and Jones, Inc. in Norwell, MA is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to work with contractors, homeowners, and business customers on plumbing, HVAC, heating, and well & water products. This full-time role offers weekday schedule and occasional Saturdays.

You will assist customers in person and by phone, recommend products, process orders, and maintain an organized counter. The position emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and a willingness to learn in a family-owned company with training

Qualifications

• Customer service, counter sales or related experience preferred.
• Plumbing, HVAC, heating, construction product knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and over the phone with product selection, pricing, quotes, and orders
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs
• Build strong relationships with contractors, homeowners, and business customers
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Pull, verify, and prepare orders
• Answer product questions and provide knowledgeable customer service
• Work with Branch Management, Outside Sales, the warehouse, and manufacturers to meet customer needs
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales counter
• Learn new products and industry information through ongoing training
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

$22–$28 per hour, depending on experience

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Only 1 Saturday per Month | 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

No Saturday Hours During the Summer

About The Job

Snow and Jones, Inc. is looking for a Counter Sales Associate to join our Norwell, MA team. In this role, you'll work directly with contractors, homeowners, and business customers to help them select and purchase plumbing, HVAC, heating, and well & water products.

This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service, counter sales, inside sales, retail, wholesale, plumbing, HVAC, or construction experience. Industry experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person who has strong customer service skills and a desire to learn.

Pay & Benefits
