Snow and Jones, Inc. in Norwell, MA is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to join our team. You will work directly with contractors, homeowners, and business customers to help them select and purchase plumbing, HVAC, heating, and well & water products.

This role emphasizes customer service and counter/inside sales experience; training is provided. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with one Saturday per month, and full-time hours with benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, counter sales, inside sales, retail, or wholesale preferred.
• Plumbing, HVAC, heating, construction, or building materials knowledge a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive, professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Willingness to learn and work well in a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and over the phone with product selection, pricing, quotes, and orders.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs.
• Build relationships with contractors, homeowners, and business customers.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pull, verify, and prepare orders.
• Answer product questions with knowledgeable service.
• Collaborate with management, outside sales, warehouse, and manufacturers to meet customer needs.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales counter.
• Learn new products through ongoing training.
• Help maintain a clean, safe work environment.

About the Job

Snow and Jones, Inc. is looking for a Counter Sales Associate to join our Norwell, MA team. In this role, you'll work directly with contractors, homeowners, and business customers to help them select and purchase plumbing, HVAC, heating, and well & water products.

This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service, counter sales, inside sales, retail, wholesale, plumbing, HVAC, or construction experience. Industry experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person who has strong customer service skills and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and over the phone with product selection, pricing, quotes, and orders

• Plumbing, HVAC, heating, construction, building materials, or mechanical product knowledge is a plus

Pay & Benefits

• $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience
