Position Purpose

This full‑time Counter Sales role with backup driver duties serves as a key customer touchpoint, ensuring accurate order entry and smooth customer interactions. The position requires strong multitasking skills, including processing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating logistics to support delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and via email.
• Accurately process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company’s computer system.
• Create detailed sales orders and quotes, using customer measurements to estimate material needs and project costs.
• Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries to meet customer expectations.
• Participate in inventory management activities such as cycle counts, order picking, staging, replenishment, and shipping/receiving.
• Communicate customer needs and special order requests to management and team members to enhance product offerings and service delivery.
• Perform backup driver duties in a non‑regulated truck, operating in both office and warehouse environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or sales preferred.
• Clear, courteous communication skills in person, by phone, and by email.
• Ability to work in varied conditions, including warehouses and outdoor environments.
• Capability to pass a pre‑employment drug test, background check, and driving assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Previous experience with irrigation or landscaping products.
• High school diploma or equivalent education and work experience.
