Job summary

Kith Treats in Malibu is seeking a friendly Counter Associate to greet guests, craft visually appealing desserts, and deliver a first-class experience for every visitor.

You will handle cash, manage stock between customers, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety procedures while supporting brand activations and special drops that keep our desserts exciting and on-brand.

Qualifications

• Open & flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• 1–2 years in a food/beverage position.
• 1+ years in a customer-facing position.
• 1+ years of cash handling preferred.
• Valid ServSafe or Food Handler certificate.

Responsibilities

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00/hr plus Commission(s) & Tip eligibility

Position Summary

The Kith - Treats Counter Associate is the face of the Kith Treats shop. They are personable, friendly, and focused on delivering a first‑in‑class experience to all new and returning customers. They are passionate about desserts and committed to delivering a best‑in‑class experience capped off with a beautifully assembled TREAT!

Responsibilities

• Continuously provide an exceptional experience for each of our Treats customers, capped off with a visually captivating and equally delicious dessert.
• Practice and master plating and presentation techniques used on each creation.
• Clean and maintain industrial kitchen equipment.
• Use time between customers to manage inventory levels, ensuring we are always prepared.
• Apply our iconic “Swirl” to our highly sought‑after desserts.
• Proactively communicate inventory needs with management.
• Stay updated on all company activations and brand partnerships.
• Adhere to all company processes, policies, and procedures.
• Follow all Food & Safety procedures.
• Adhere to availability and scheduling needs of the business.
• Assist the Shops Management team with housekeeping responsibilities, including dusting, sweeping, collecting trash, and other tasks associated with standard food & beverage operations.

Special Projects

• Participate and assist in Physical Inventories as required by the business.
• Assist Merchandising team during visual initiatives as required by the business.

Requirements

• Open & flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases as needed.
• Valid ServSafe or Food Handler’s certificate or equivalent.
• 1-2 years in a food/beverage position.
• 1+ years in a customer‑facing position preferred.
• 1+ years of cash handling preferred.
