Rail City Casino is seeking a coin room attendant for the early morning shift in Sparks, NV. You will handle cash drops, count currency, wrap coins, and secure the coin room while maintaining keys and equipment.
Candidates should have cash handling experience, math accuracy, and strong teamwork. Nevada gaming registration and a valid driver’s license are required; travel to Truckee gaming locations may be necessary.
Previous cash handling experience is required. Employees must possess excellent math skills and accuracy. Must be professional and friendly and be able to get along with coworkers and work as a team. Excellent communication skills required. Must have basic computer skills.
Previous experience in Casino Cage or high-volume cash handling experience preferred.
Must be able to travel to different Truckee Gaming Locations.
Must have the ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to lift drop boxes up to standard counter height. Must have the mobility to easily move about the casino area and be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be comfortable working in a small, confined space with the same people for entire shift. Can reach, grasp, bend, squat, and push/pull heavy carts. Must be comfortable working in a noisy, smoky casino environment.
