Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems in Las Vegas is seeking a cashier/count associate to handle slot, table games, kiosk, and non-gaming area cash handling in a regulated casino environment. You will meet state regulations, prepare daily transfers, and maintain strict controls and accountability while working both independently and as part of a team.

A Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entry. Strong English communication, professional demeanor, and solid interpersonal skills are

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in soft count in a casino environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication.
• Professional demeanor and attire at all times.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships across all staff levels.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.

• Meets and adheres to state and local regulations, i.e. Gaming Control Board, internal audit, as well as company and department policies and procedures and controls
• Drops and Counts funds as directed
• Prepares and coordinates Cashier daily transfers, ensuring strict controls and accountability are adhered to

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• One (1) or more years’ experience in soft count in a casino environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal forms
• A professional demeanor and attire is to be maintained at all times
• Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Must be able to perform in a team environment
• Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of staff and leadership
• An intermediate to proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is preferred
• Proven ability to resolve guest conflicts with ease or determine if management is needed in certain guest situations
• A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position
