Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is opening a new treatment center in Concord, MA, seeking committed counselors to support adults in Substance Use Disorder treatment. You will deliver individual, family, and group therapies, work with a multidisciplinary team, and help build a recovery-focused program in a supportive environment.

The role requires licensure or eligibility, a relevant degree, and dedication to evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• LADC II licensure or higher, or license-eligibility with site director confirmation.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Services or related field.
• Experience in residential treatment settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of clients and families.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate documentation compliant with standards and regulations.
• Participate in utilization review and support aftercare planning and outcomes tracking.
• Contribute to clinical programming, curriculum development, and training.
• Provide crisis intervention and maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
• Conduct Level of Care assessments and participate in on-call rotations.

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Counselors to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting clients throughout their recovery journey by providing therapeutic services, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of clients and their families
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team
• Facilitate clinical services including individual, family, and group therapy
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program, licensing, and accreditation standards
• Participate in utilization review processes by providing required documentation
• Support the development of aftercare plans and assist with outcomes tracking
• Contribute to clinical programming, including curriculum development and program enhancement
• Provide crisis intervention and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
• Conduct Level of Care assessments as needed
• Participate in clinical on‑call rotation as assigned
• Complete all required trainings and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements at the time of hire:

• Hold an LADC II or higher clinical licensure, or
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Services or a related field in lieu of licensure, or
• Be license-eligible, with eligibility confirmed by the site Clinical Director or Executive Director

Preferred Experience

• Experience in residential treatment settings
• Experience working with clients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health disorders
• Familiarity with electronic clinical records (ECR) systems
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices
