Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Massachusetts seeks a Counselor (per-diem) to work in the Respite Unit with adults facing mental health challenges. You will provide one-on-one counseling, needs assessments, and group activities within a collaborative team.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree and at least two years in human services or psychiatric populations; MAP certification and bilingual Spanish/English are preferred. Pay and shifts vary, with 21.50/hr base plus surcharges.

What You’ll Do

As a Counselor in the Respite Unit, you will work directly with adults experiencing mental health challenges, providing one-on-one counseling, needs assessments, and group activities. You will also collaborate with family members and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that help individuals achieve their goals.

Scheduled: varies - 7am-3:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm and 11pm-7:30am Pay: $21.50/hr. with differential $1.00/hr. after 4pm and weekends $5/hr.
