Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Massachusetts seeks a Counselor (per-diem) to work in the Respite Unit with adults facing mental health challenges. You will provide one-on-one counseling, needs assessments, and group activities within a collaborative team.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree and at least two years in human services or psychiatric populations; MAP certification and bilingual Spanish/English are preferred. Pay and shifts vary, with 21.50/hr base plus surcharges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of human services or equivalent experience with a psychiatric population required.
• MAP Certification preferred; bilingual fluency in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews, observations, and mental status exams to inform treatment plans.
• Provide individualized counseling services and facilitate group activities.
• Collaborate with families, service providers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Participate in supervision and training to enhance your professional skills.
