Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Massachusetts seeks a Counselor (per-diem) to work with adults in the Respite Unit, providing one-on-one counseling, needs assessments, and group activities.

You will collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that help individuals achieve their goals in a supportive setting.

Scheduled shifts vary - 7am-3:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm and 11pm-7:30am; Pay: $21.50/hr with differential $1.00/hr after 4pm and weekends $5/hr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Two years of experience in a human services field or with a psychiatric population is required.
• MAP Certification is preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews, observations, and mental status exams to inform treatment plans.
• Provide individualized counseling services and facilitate group activities.
• Collaborate with families, service providers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Participate in regular supervision and training to enhance professional skills.
