Spero Health is seeking a Counselor to join our team in Kokomo, Indiana. This licensed professional will support the mission of Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships through counseling, case management and med-assisted treatment within an integrated care team.

Responsibilities include initial assessment, ongoing patient care, evidenced-based counseling, patient education, and coordinating with the treatment program to help patients achieve recovery.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in behavioral health field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year full-time human-services experience or Master’s Degree in behavioral science.
• Licenses required: LMHC, LMHCA, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LCAC, LAC.

The Counselor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
• Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPPA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health field. Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship working in a human-services setting OR Master's Degree in behavioral science, as defined above.
• License: LMHC, LMHCA, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LCAC, LAC
