Job summary

Spero Health is seeking a licensed Counselor or Social Worker to join our integrated care team in Racine, WI. You will support patients through counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment, with emphasis on whole-person care.

Responsibilities include initial and ongoing assessments, evidence-based counseling, patient education, and collaboration to ensure adherence to treatment plans. Licensure in one of the listed credentials is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 1 year full-time human-services experience or Master’s in behavioral science.
• Licenses: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPC-IT, APSW, CSAC.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.

This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment. The Counselor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Requirements

LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER EDUCATION:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health field. Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship working in a human-services setting OR Master’s Degree in behavioral science, as defined above.
• License: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPC-IT, APSW, CSAC

Spero Health will provide the following training required for HIOP programs, all of which must be completed within the first 90 days of employment:

CPR Certification, Basic First Aid, Narcan Administration and De-Escalation Training
