Job description

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing healing, justice, and wholeness to individuals and communities. LSSI is hiring a full-time Counselor Case Manager to assist clients in achieving their objectives and goals. Responsibilities include eliciting solutions through collaboration with clients and coordinating services for client care.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage a caseload of 7-10 clients.
  • Present up to 5 didactic groups per week based on Evidence-Based Practices.
  • Provide counseling (individual and group) and case management.
  • Communicate with supervisors, treatment teams, and collateral agencies to address client needs.
  • Complete all required documentation promptly, utilizing the HER electronic health record system.

Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Annual TB test.
  • Minimum CADC certification.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the substance use field preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
