Job summary

Spero Health, Inc. in Hopkinsville, KY is seeking a Counselor to join our team. The role offers a four-day, 10-hour workweek Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, focusing on integrated care for patients with substance use disorders.

Licensed counselors or social workers provide initial and ongoing patient care, counseling, education, and collaboration to support recovery, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and more.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field required.
• Minimum 1 year full-time experience in a human-services setting or a Master's in behavioral science.
• License options: CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LCADC-A, LCADC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
• Act as a clinic resource and ensure HIPAA and CFR42 Part 2 compliance.

Spero Health is seeking a Counselor to join our awesome team in Hopkinsville, KY!

This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment. The Counselor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Requirements

LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER EDUCATION:

• Education: Minimum, Master's Degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or another human service degree program related to working with individuals with substance use disorders.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship working in a human-services setting OR Master's Degree in behavioral science, as defined above.
• License: CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LCADC-A, LCADC
