Job summary

ED&F Man Cotton in Houston is seeking a Trade Operations & Supply Chain Lead to coordinate the execution of physical contracts and the related logistics, inventory and supply chain activities.

You will act as the operational link between trading, documentation, finance, warehouses and transportation providers, driving improvements through data and automation while supporting colleagues and resolving execution issues.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in trade operations or supply chain management with physical commodities experience
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, International Trade, Data Analytics or related field preferred
• Experience with ERP, TMS or inventory systems and strong data analysis skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of physical commodity purchase and sale contracts from handoff to delivery and settlement.
• Maintain accurate contract, shipment, inventory and logistics data in ERP and related systems.
• Coordinate with traders, warehouses, carriers, and service providers to align priorities.
• Identify automation, data-driven process improvements and system enhancements.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members and back up the Head of Trade Operations and Supply Chain.
