Job summary

RTX is seeking a Platform Asset and Incident Strategist II to manage COTS software baselines and lifecycle. You will coordinate incident resolution, track assets, and ensure accurate configuration item data across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, onsite environment in Richardson, TX. The role requires a STEM degree and a TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance Day 1, with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• Experience in technical environments interfacing with systems, software, or hardware engineering disciplines.
• Experience analyzing and reporting metrics.
• Active and current TS/SCI with CI Poly; U.S. citizenship is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage RMAs, coordinate incident resolution, and oversee COTS asset and lifecycle activities.
• Ensure CI/asset data accuracy via Mid Servers and evidence-based incident resolution.
• Provide secondary support for obsolescence mitigation and procurement coordination with engineering, supply chain, quality, and field teams.
• Use ServiceNow workflows for incident resolution, asset tracking, and lifecycle management; drive process improvements.
• Conduct periodic audits of COTS software aligned with system deliveries and reconcile records with inventory.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Systems Engineers, and Configuration Management to document and ensure compliant COTS software.
