Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in Richardson, TX is seeking a Platform Patch Integration Specialist II to manage and maintain the program's COTS software baseline. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, timely patch deployment and lifecycle management, influencing program success.

The role requires active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance Day 1 and an onsite presence at the RTX Richardson facility. Collaboration across hardware, software, and configuration management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Experience with COTS/FOSS in a technical environment.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance required Day 1.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee COTS patch management activities, including assessing release versions and risks.
• Prepare RITMs, change requests, patching docs, and related deliverables for timely deployment.
• Use ServiceNow workflows for incident resolution, asset tracking, and lifecycle management.
• Conduct periodic audits of COTS software aligned with system deliveries to validate the baseline.
• Collaborate with Hardware/Infrastructure and Software/Systems Engineers to document and ensure compliance with program needs.
• Support obsolescence mitigation and software scanning analyses to meet program requirements.
