Job summary

PACS Group is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in California. You will work under the supervision of a licensed OT to help patients regain functional skills and independence using advanced rehabilitation resources.

Qualifications

• Current and valid California COTA license/certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions according to the established treatment plan.
• Assist patients with improving ADLs, functional mobility, coordination, strength, and independence.
• Implement therapeutic activities designed to support functional recovery.
• Monitor and communicate patient progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Collaborate with OT, nursing, therapy professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote patient safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
