Job summary

Cross City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that improve guests' daily living skills.

You will lead activities that enhance independence in ADLs and IADLs, participate in group sessions, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a warm, family-like setting.

Qualifications

• 0+ years experience in occupational therapy or related field.
• Associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy or related field.
• Must be certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of [insert state].

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in design and implementation of treatment plans.
• Conduct daily living skills training (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs (IADLs).
• Develop and lead group therapy sessions focused on cognitive, sensory, and motor skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatments and progress.
