Job summary

Life Care Centers of America’s Payson Care Center is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) on a PRN basis for day shifts. You will support direct rehab care under OT supervision, helping patients progress toward functional goals in a SNF setting.

New grads are welcome; NBCOT certification and active state licensure are required, with CPR certification as a must. Proficiency in Word/Excel/Email, teamwork, and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certified upon hire.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license required.
• CPR certification upon hire and maintained during employment.
• New grads welcome to apply; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational therapy treatment plans under supervising OT.
• Chart appropriately and timely; document patient progress.
• Utilize therapy software accurately and efficiently.
• Provide excellent patient service with a positive attitude.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team for patient care.
• Maintain patient rights, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Adhere to Life Care policies and code of conduct.
