Job summary

Corvallis Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement individualized treatment plans, assist residents with therapeutic activities, and promote independence through adaptive equipment and purposeful exercises. You will document progress and collaborate with the care team to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Qualifications

• Requires current Oregon Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates effective problem solving in clinical settings.
• Ability to collaborate with facility staff to promote residents' wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans to help residents achieve goals.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and daily living activities.
• Teach use of adaptive equipment to promote independence.
• Conduct therapeutic activities and motivate residents.
• Accurately document patient progress in a timely manner.
