Job summary

Clarion Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with licensed OTs in designing patient-specific treatment plans. You will help patients recover and regain independence through ADL and IADL training, in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with evaluations, implementing plans, educating patients, and collaborating with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes in a fast-paced rehab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a COTA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions.
• Implement and modify treatment plans as needed, under the guidance of occupational therapists.
• Provide patient education and training on activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and supportive work environment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
