Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Autumn Lake at Memorial Bridge in Carneys Point, NJ. In a skilled nursing setting, you will support residents' rehab goals under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

You will provide treatment, guide daily living activities, document progress, and collaborate with nurses and therapy staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care. This PRN role offers competitive hourly pay and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• COTA certification.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and document clearly.
• New graduates welcome; SNF experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide treatment within the OT plan, tailoring activities to residents' goals and needs.
• Guide dressing, grooming, toileting, and bathing practice.
• Address upper-extremity skills, coordination, and endurance.
• Assist with adaptive equipment and energy conservation strategies.

Autumn Lake at Memorial Bridge | Carneys Point, NJ

$35–$40/hour | PRN

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Autumn Lake at Memorial Bridge. In this skilled nursing setting, you'll help residents practice the skills needed for personal care and daily routines, working closely with the supervising Occupational Therapist throughout their rehabilitation.

What You'll Do

• Provide treatment within the OT's established plan, tailoring activities to residents' goals and assistance needs.
• Guide residents through dressing, grooming, toileting, and bathing practice.
• Use prescribed functional activities to address upper-extremity abilities, coordination, and endurance.
• Help residents apply adaptive equipment techniques and energy conservation strategies during daily tasks.
• Communicate changes in performance, comfort, or participation to the supervising OT.
• Document treatment and resident responses, coordinating with nursing and therapy colleagues to support consistent care.
