Job summary

Linley Park Post Acute in Anderson, SC, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work PRN alongside the OT team. This 88-bed skilled facility focuses on resident independence and quality of life, with a supportive, team-oriented rehab environment.

You will assist in implementing care plans, improve ADLs and strength, and help maintain progress notes in a setting that values dedication to resident outcomes and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active, unencumbered COTA license in South Carolina.
• Sensory-focused therapy experience.
• Experience in a long-term care or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for improving resident outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized care plans.
• Provide therapy focused on improving ADLs, strength, and functional independence.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress updates.
• Participate in patient care and rehab conferences.
• Monitor and report resident progress to the therapy team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
