Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver patient-centered therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in a skilled care setting.

You will follow treatment plans, assist with documentation, help with discharge planning, and support a collaborative care approach within the interdisciplinary team. Prior SNF/rehab exposure and PCC/Casamba familiarity are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Active SC COTA license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Familiarity with PCC or Casamba is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Follow physician treatment plans and care goals
• Assist with documentation of daily treatments and progress notes
• Support interdisciplinary team communication regarding resident progress
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education
• Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment
• Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies
