Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Preble County, Ohio and surrounding areas is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our home health team. Working under a licensed OT, you will provide individualized therapy to help patients improve independence, safety, and quality of life in their homes.

The role offers flexible scheduling as Part-Time or PRN with pay per visit, weekly pay, PTO, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

Current Ohio COTA license.
Current CPR and/or BLS certification.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the established plan of care under the direction of a licensed OT.
Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and functional mobility.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and the safe use of equipment.
Observes, documents and reports patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising OT.
Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
