Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to support patient assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role emphasizes thorough documentation, adherence to policy, and active participation in education within the department.

• Current license or eligibility to practice OTA in state of practice.
• BLS certification must be current before independent patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with initial patient assessments and participate in treatment planning under supervision.
• Document the course of patient care, progress notes, and treatment charges.
• Administer modalities, exercises, and treatment procedures per departmental policies.
• Maintain patient progress notes and department records.
• Promote department education and knowledge sharing.
• Demonstrate understanding of patient needs across neonatal to geriatric ages.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the Inpatient Physical Medicine Supervisor.
