Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or eligibility for licensure.
• One year experience preferred but open to new graduates.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial assessments and follow-up documentation under supervision of an OT.
• Document patient care including progress notes and treatment needs.
• Administer modalities, exercise regimes, or treatment procedures per policy.
• Maintain progress notes and records for patient care and charges.
• Promote department education and knowledge of patient needs across age groups.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Inpatient Physical Medicine Supervisor.
