Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a part-time daytime role at Newton Care & Rehab in Newton, IL. The COTA will implement treatment plans under OT supervision, document patient progress, and educate patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

Applicants should have an associate degree, possess a current state COTA license, and NBCOT certification.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program is required.
• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification is required.
• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.
