Job summary

Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Millersville, TN seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to carry out best practice treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. The COTA will work toward goals set by the OT and provide feedback through documentation as required by facility policy.

Ideal candidates hold active licensure/registration, have experience in long-term or geriatric care, and demonstrate strong documentation and patient-centered

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of OT.
• Experience with long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation and timely progress notes.
• Collaborates with disciplines to provide patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the OT.
• Provide feedback to supervising OT via documentation.
• Document patient's progress on weekly progress notes.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
