LP Therapy is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services in a Long-Term Care setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Flexible scheduling available, new grads welcome with mentorship provided!

Responsibilities include carrying out plans of care, assisting with activities of daily living, fabricating splints, and educating patients and families on home programs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• Current state COTA license required.
• LTC experience preferred; knowledge of Medicare documentation beneficial.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills expected.

Responsabilités

• Carry out established plans of care.
• Assist patients with daily living skills and functional activities.
• Fabricate and adapt splints and assistive devices.
• Help design and modify patient environments.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive equipment.
• Complete Medicare and facility documentation timely and accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Support patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and productivity standards.
