Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support in-facility care, implementing therapy programs and helping patients regain independence.

You will work under the Director of Rehab, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in a mentorship program while pursuing ongoing CEUs.

Must be a graduate of an accredited OTA program with NBCOT certification and licensure eligibility; compensation includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (AOTA/ACOTE standards).
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to help patients regain function.
• See patients as individuals and work to restore independence.
• Collaborate with peers and refer when needed to support patient care.

Education
