Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver best practice treatments under OT supervision in a long-term care setting. You will follow OT goals, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient-centered outcomes.

Strong documentation skills and punctuality are essential. This role supports rehabilitation services and may involve other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment by adhering to goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback to supervising occupational therapist via documentation.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered care.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
