Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver best practice treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid COTA license, experience in long-term or geriatric care, and excellent documentation skills to maintain timely weekly progress notes

Qualifications

• Must have valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation writing and timely weekly progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out evidence-based treatments under OT supervision.
• Provide treatment aligned to goals developed by the OT.
• Document patient progress in weekly notes and ensure timely reporting.
