Job summary

AllStar Therapies is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team for full-time positions. You will provide therapies under the supervision of an OT, help patients improve daily living activities, mobility, and independence, and document progress accurately.

Ideal candidates have an accredited COTA program credential and current license; SNF/rehab experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred, new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, and independence.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Accurately document treatment sessions, patient progress, and outcomes.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and home safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations.
