AllStar Therapies in Jeannette, PA is seeking a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT and help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, and independence
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
• Accurately document treatment sessions, patient progress, and outcomes
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and home safety
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations
