Santa Cruz Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team in Santa Cruz, CA. This full-time opportunity offers flexible schedules (FT, PT, PRN) and a competitive starting pay of $44-$50 per hour DOE.

Under supervision of a licensed OT, you will implement plans of care, help residents improve ADLs, mobility, and cognitive function, and document progress. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Current California COTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited COTA program.
• Strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills.
• Prior SNF experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsabilités

• Provide treatment interventions per the resident's OT plan of care.
• Implement programs to improve ADLs, mobility, strength and cognition.
• Document daily treatment notes and resident responses per standards.
• Collaborate with OT, therapy staff, nursing and other team members.
• Educate residents, families and caregivers on exercises and safety.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and standards.
