Job summary

Armstrong Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on site. You will help design and implement therapy plans, administer treatments, and monitor patient progress to support independence and community re-entry.

The role requires graduation from an accredited COTA program and active COTA certification, with strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the care team in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a busy rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of occupational therapy plans of care.
• Conduct OT treatments including exercises, activities, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and report to the supervising OT.
• Maintain accurate records of treatment and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families to promote independence and community re-entry.
