Job summary

Packers Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the therapy team at St Ann Health and Rehab and Muskego Health and Rehab in Wisconsin. The COTA will plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, ensuring high-quality resident care.

Location requires floating between two facilities. This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Wisconsin OTA licensure (or eligibility) is required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best intervention based on scope of practice.
• Implement treatment plans and follow goals under supervising therapist.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents, families, and the care team.
• Create individual therapy schedules with input from team members.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per documentation standards.
• Perform all other duties related to effective resident care as assigned.
