Job summary

Muskego Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team, operating across Muskego Health and Rehab and St Ann Health and Rehab.

You will plan, organize, develop and direct Occupational Therapy Services following current standards, provide progressive treatment, document care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while enjoying a $3,000 sign-on bonus and flexible full-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• WI OTA licensure or eligibility is required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine best intervention.
• Perform treatment plans and follow goals set by supervising therapist.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents and families.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with the team.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per plan of care.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards daily.

Muskego Health and Rehab is seeking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Therapy Team. As a COTA you will be responsible to plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Location: This position requires you to float between two facilities (Muskego Health and Rehab and St Ann Health and Rehab)

Status: Full-Time FT with flexible scheduling

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based off scope of practice
• Perform treatment plan to residents; follow short and long term goals and methods to achieve goals based off of the established plan of care by supervising therapist
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentations as indicated

Education & Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy
• WI OTA licensure
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
