Job summary

Packer Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a partner facility in Suring, WI. This full-time role offers flexible scheduling or per diem/PRN options and focuses on delivering high-quality resident care.

The COTA will implement treatment plans, coordinate with the supervisory therapist, and ensure accurate documentation and billing according to CMS standards, while supporting a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Wisconsin OTA licensure required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment.
• Perform treatment plans for residents and follow goals established by the supervising therapist.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to the treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point-of-care documentation as indicated.

Education
