LifeSpan Therapy seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support OTs in delivering rehabilitative care at Brown County Health & Living. You will assist with treatment plans, monitor progress, and help residents regain daily living skills.

The role emphasizes documentation, team collaboration, and patient-centered care in a family-oriented setting, with opportunities to grow professionally within LifeSpan.

Qualifications

• COTA certification from an accredited program.
• Current Indiana license or certification to practice as a COTA.
• Valid Indiana Operator's license.
• Computer literacy to document resident records in electronic health systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and teams.

Responsabilités

• Assist therapists by implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Contribute to evaluation through objective tests under supervision.
• Provide direct resident care including exercises and modalities.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies.
• Occasionally travel to other locations to cover therapy needs.
• Maintain clear documentation of treatments and communicate with the team.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas for sessions.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs.
