Job summary

The Occupational Therapy Assistant/COTA role in Ohio supports our Staff Occupational Therapist with direct patient care and documentation. You will help implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and assist with discharge planning in a healthcare facility setting.

Licensed OTA with strong computer skills is required, including experience inputting data into Casamba and Point Click Care. Excellent communication with families and health-team members is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Staff Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state.
• Proficient in computer skills and inputting data into Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and policy manuals.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Assist nursing department with training of Restorative Aides.
• Communicate with supervisor and health team members regarding patient progress.
