Concept Rehab in Akron, OH is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) to support licensed occupational therapists in improving patients’ independence, safety, mobility, and daily living activities. Qualifications

• Active OTA license in the state of practice is required.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide OTA treatments according to plan of care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to therapists and care teams.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care plan conferences.
• Educate patients and caregivers on restorative and functional maintenance.
• Complete treatment documentation and daily billing accurately.
• Assist with discharge planning and transition of care activities.
• Promote patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
